The Roads are :
1. Buzulega – Lukuwa – Yar Gada- Malikawa in Gwadabawa Local Government.
2- Kaffe-Gidan Hashimu-Tsitse, Kaddi-Arawa in Gada Local Government.
3- Illela-Kalmalo in Illela Local Government.
The Governor explained that the Flag off of the roads construction is part of his fulfilment of Campaign promises of bringing development closer to the People. Dr Ahmed Aliyu assured the people that every part of the state will enjoy the dividend of Democracy. The Governor further explained that apart from roads construction, other areas of human development would be given top priority. Earlier in his remarks, the Special Guest of honor and former Minister of Police Affairs Alhaji Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi applauded the current administration of Dr Ahmed Aliyu for showing commitment and demonstration of examplary leadership in transforming the State at all levels.
Also commenting, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Roads Hon. Malami Muhammad Galadanchi BAJARE informed the Governor that his office will ensure compliance from the Firm given the contract for the benefit of people of the State.
In a welcome address, the State Coodinator Engr. Malami Umar Tambuwal who represented the National Coodinator Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project RAAMP Engr. Aminu Bodinga Muhammad said all the said projects are partnership between the World Bank, French Development Agency,Federal Government and theSokoto State Government for construction of rural roads and improving rural Markets.
The occasion was attended by Senator Aliyu Maganarda Wamakko, State Deputy Governor Engr. Idris Muhammad Gobir, Speaker State House of Assembly and members of the State Executive Council.
